Shanghai FAG Bearing Company Ltd. is a trade company established under the agreement between Shanghai Mechanical and Electrical Equipment Center Co., Ltd. (SMECC) and FAG China Co., Ltd. With the approval of Shanghai Foreign Trade Council, we have the authority to deal with foreign trade. Our business focus is the bearings and other products of the German FAG Company.
The predecessor of Shanghai Mechanical and Electrical Equipment Center Co., Ltd. is China Mechanical and Electrical Equipment Co., East China Branch, which set up the FAG Bearings Shanghai Consignment Agent as early as in 1985, the first company to deal with FAG bearings in mainland China. In 1995, we became the authorized agent of FAG Company. In May 2002, with the establishment of Shanghai FAG Bearing Company Ltd. as the joint venture between SMECC and FAG Company, we resumed our role as the consignment agent for FAG bearings.
